Overview

Purpose

Provide manufacturer information on all product detail pages

Key Features

  • Displays products manufacturer data on the product detail page in it's own tab
  • Use a single form to update a manufacturers data
  • Has the abillity to also set importer data

Compatibility

  • Shopware 6.6.x.x

Usage

Installation

  • Log into the Shopware backend.
  • Navigate to the menu item "Extensions" and select "Manage extensions".
  • In the store, you will find the "Esono Product Security Act Plugin" plugin. Click on the "Add to basket" button.
  • After downloading, you will find the plugin under "My extensions". Click on "Install" and then on "Activate".

Configuration

  • Make sure that the plugin is not only installed but also activated in the admin area.

    Dashboard

  • Toggle the dashboard modules functionality to display manufacturers that are already compliant (default is inactive)

Badges

  • Toggle where the badges are being shown in the frontend. It can be set for the product detail page and teaser cards separately (default is active)

Use in backend

  • Navigate to catalogue -> GPSR
    • Select a manufacturer from the dropdown menu. If the manufacturer has already data saved, it will automatically be loaded.
    • Fill out the manufacturer information
      • Mandatory fields are: street and street number, zip, city, country, e-mail, phone
      • If mandatory fields are not filled, you will get a notification upon saving. Also, the badges will not be displayed for these products
      • Importers have the same mandatory fields, however, these are only relevant, should you have activated the importer

Use in frontend

  • If the manufacturer is filled with data, it will automatically be shown in a separate tab on the product detail page of all products associated with the manufacturer

Review and customization

  • Selecting a manufacturer in the plugin page automaticaly fields all fields with the already available and saved data
